Notes on the Anime movie: The Cat ReturnsThis file explaines what I captured and heard while watching The Cat Returns.  Please note that it was in Japanese without Subtitles and I know very few Japanese.The pictures are ordered as I took them and some are missing because many were irrelevant or multiples.File name / descriptionThe_Cat_Returns0001.jpg / Although the TF did not occur yet, her ears are higher on her head and larger than her friend's.The_Cat_Returns0003.jpg / Not a TF pic.  She's supposed to be either mortified or disgusted.  It's the only time in the movie that they change her appearance other than the cat form.The_Cat_Returns0004.jpg through The_Cat_Returns0016.jpg / This sequence shows a statue becoming a live crow.  I did not catch the name of the crow easily enough to remember it, but he is an importaint role in the story.The_Cat_Returns0018.jpg / This scene occurs a minute before the actual TF.  This just illustraits the size change she went though after arriving at the cat palace.The_Cat_Returns0019.jpg / This is seconds after the TF.  She's been dressed in a pretty dress and introduced to the Cat King(Apparently the bad guy) and, while her visable parts are offscreen, she becomes a cat.The_Cat_Returns0020.jpg / She explores her changes.  As you can see, she has paws, a pink nose, and ears.  Her tail is hidden beneith the dress.The_Cat_Returns0021.jpg / The Catgirl 'Harem', the cats in veils, wheels a mirror in fornt of her.  Relization sets in.The_Cat_Returns0022.jpg / She is screeming "Neko", which means "cat".  As you can see, the changes also affected her mouth and finger tips.The_Cat_Returns0028.jpg & The_Cat_Returns0029.jpg / This scene shows her growing whiskers.  It's rather instantanious which is why there are only two images.The_Cat_Returns0030.jpg / This scene shows her tail.  And it seems that the 'Harem' got lazy and put the dress over her school clothes.The_Cat_Returns0034.jpg & .jpg / Another Whiskers scene.  This time, they grow longer.The_Cat_Returns0036.jpg though The_Cat_Returns0043.jpg / This sequence shows her returning back to her human self.  This is the only "full blown" TF in the whole movie.
